John Parker Returns.

Centre back John Parker returns to West Auckland from table toppers North Shields.
John played for West for nearly three seasons when he arrived from Ryton in 2011 to August 2013, when he left to go to Northern League side North Shields.
One of his highlights, while at West was when he played at Wembley in the FA Vase final against Dunston in 2013.
During his time at North Shields he went back to Wembley in the FA Vase final, this time he picked up a winner’s medal after beating Glossop North End 2-1 in 2015.
John also has a Northumberland Senior Cup Winning medal after beating Blyth Spartans 4-3 at St.James Park back in May 2016.
The defender has played in a total of 152 games for North Shields and netted 8 times.
While North Shields are currently sitting at the top of the table and also in this years Northumberland Senior Cup final after just beating Newcastle in the semi final he has been in and out of the Shields team.
John is looking for a regular starting position and has no problem on returning to West Auckland, although other northern league sides were enquiry about him including Consett, Whitley Bay, Blyth Town and Dunston.
John now 28, works for a Builders Merchant and is looking forward to helping West climb the table. He has good memories from when he was here and got on well with the fans and the committee.
