Connor treble lead West to win

Player coach Paul Connor led to example as he scored a hat trick to lead West Auckland to a 4-0 victory over Billingham Synthonia.

West’s return back to winning ways was confirmed when Adam Mitchell notched the fourth.

Meanwhile Synners missed a penalty in first time stoppage time, but it was Connor who stole the show as he helped West overcome the loss of forwards Nathan Fisher and Amar Purewal, who both missed the game due to injury.
