West Auckland held off a spirited late Horden fight back to progress in the Durham Challenge Cup.
Stuart Banks put West ahead at the break finish a fine move then Matthew Coad, on his debut, doubled the lead immediately after half time, when his cross come shot flew into the net.
Bojang pulled one back with a rebound after they had hit the bar then Horden had another 2 off the line as they looked to snatch a leveller that would have taken the game into extra time.
