In a typical end of season clash, quality was low on a bumpy hard pitch and there were few chances with the only goal being scored from the spot.

A West Auckland side down to the bare bones gained an impressive 3 points at Esh Winning. So short on numbers, goalkeeper David Lanning played as an emergency forward - and scored!

A stunned West Allotment were hit for four in a rampant first half by West Auckland, whilst a single second half goal by midfielder Jonathan Gibson capped the win and sealed his well deserved hat trick.

A late Mattie Moffat winner all but confirmed West Auckland's first division survival in a tight game of few chances at South Shields.

West Auckland finished the season with an impressive 3-0 win over soon-to-be Unibond side Newcastle Blue Star.

After an excellent display, a deserved victory was turned into a cruel defeat with a red card to goalkeeper Mark Bell turning the game on its head. 

A derby double was completed in emphatic style with the game being sewn up by half time as veteran Lee Ellison ran the show with 2 goals and 2 assists.

A hatful of missed chances cost West Auckland dearly as they somehow went down by a single goal at home to Newcastle Blue Star.
