Arran Wearmouth

On loan from Darlington.

Able to play in midfield or up front, Arran joined West on loan from Darlington shortly before the start of the season.

He moved to the Quakers from Blyth in the summer of 2016 but had suffered a knee injury at the end of the previous season, ruling him out for much of the 16/17 campaign. After a cruciate operation and frustrating wait on the treatment table, he returned to fitness at the end of the season, making 3 substitute appearances.

The 25 year old started his career at Middlesbrough before joining Bishop Auckland in 2010. After impressing with the Two Blues, he moved up to Blyth Spartans. Arran was part of the team that starred in the 14/15 FA Cup run where they reached the 3rd Round before valiantly bowing out to Championship side Birmingham. The 6″4′ star then helped Blyth to runners up spot in the NPL Premier Division in the following season.
